Dead-stock = left over stock which has not been used or sold and has therefore become excess material, AKA waste. Waste which is actually in perfect condition (and beautiful) but unless used it will be wasted. Dead-stock materials are not easily reabsorbed by the fashion industry because they are often found in limited quantities and colours. Which makes designing and producing pieces tricky...
I have been developing a collection of textile pieces which are reproducible regardless of the yarns used to knit them. Once a colour is gone - it's gone, but the cycle of production continues. The design of your knitted piece is defined by the colour codes you pick. Every piece is one of a kind. This collection isn't seasonal, it's evolving.
