Swarovski x CSM 'Conscious design project' winner, 2019.
A project focused on designing with waste construction materials whilst integrating dead-stock crystals (end of line, damaged or faulty) donated by Swarovski. The project centers around the holistic life-cycle of materials and how waste can be localised to draw nature back to the site it came from.

The textile designs combine reflective and fluorescent materials with light reflecting Swarovski crystals to attract insects and thus greater biodiversity to the site. Above image shows the textiles applied to the exteriors of plant holders or made into a textile green wall. Both the planting and exterior textiles would work together to attract insects, as well as working together visually by colour scheme.
